Status pages

Status Pages watch the official status of the services you depend on — cloud providers, CDNs, payment processors, and more — and roll them into one view so you're not checking a dozen status sites yourself.

What it does

Crowswatch reads the public status feed of each service you add (its status page, RSS/Atom feed, or public status API) and shows a single, colour-coded indicator per service. When a provider reports an incident, it surfaces on your dashboard automatically — no configuration on your side.

The catalog covers 160+ services across categories including Cloud Providers, CDN & Hosting, Developer Tools, Monitoring, Email, Communication, Payments, AI, Databases, Auth & Identity, Security, and IT management.

Add a service

  1. In the dashboard sidebar, open Status Pages.
  2. Click Add Services (or the large Add services button if your dashboard is empty).
  3. Use the Search services… box to find a provider, or browse by category. Click a service tile to select it — selected tiles show a check. Each category has a Select all toggle.
  4. Click Save. The services appear on your dashboard and begin reporting on the next refresh.
Adding a lot at once? Use the full-page manager at Status Pages → manage, which batches your selection and only writes when you click Save changes.

Can't find a service? Use Request a service in the picker to let us know what to add.

Remove a service

On any service card, open the menu and choose Remove from dashboard. You can also deselect it in the Add Services dialog and save.

Removing a service also deletes any stored integration credentials for it (for example a Cloudflare API token). Re-adding the service will require reconnecting.

Reading the status indicators

IndicatorMeaning
Operational (green)The provider reports all systems normal
Minor Issue (amber)Degraded performance or a minor active incident
Maintenance (blue)Scheduled maintenance is in progress
Major Issue (red)A major outage or disruption is reported
Status Unavailable (grey)Crowswatch could not reach the provider’s status feed
No API Available (zinc)This service has no public status feed to poll

The summary bar at the top of the dashboard tallies how many of your services are Operational, Minor, Major, or in Maintenance. You can filter the grid by category or status, sort by priority (problems first), and switch between grid and list views.

How often status refreshes

The dashboard fetches status on load and then auto-refreshes. The interval comes from your team settings and defaults to 30 seconds; allowed values are 30, 60, 120, 300, and 600 seconds. You can also click Refresh at any time — the header shows when it last updated.

Permissions & limits

  • Services are scoped to the active team, so everyone on the team sees the same dashboard.
  • Owners and admins manage services; the number you can add is governed by your plan's monitor limit. Hitting the limit prompts an upgrade.

Troubleshooting

A service shows “Status Unavailable”

Crowswatch temporarily could not reach that provider’s status feed. It usually clears on the next refresh; a persistent grey state can mean the provider changed or rate-limited their status endpoint.

A service shows “No API Available”

That provider doesn’t publish a machine-readable status feed, so there’s nothing to poll. It stays listed for reference but won’t report live status.

I removed a service by accident

Re-add it from Add Services. Note that any integration credentials tied to it were removed and must be re-entered.
